The Database Administration and the Application Engineering teams are led by Jim Stormoen. The Database Administration team handles the integration between applications, administers a multitude of SQL instances and manages Oracle environments, among others. The Application Engineering team, which also supervises vendor management, creates the architecture and performs upgrades and patch fixes by working directly with application vendors.   

Stormoen came to VCPI in 2000 and worked in development, business analysis and database administration with companies such as Pronto Progress and TKS Consulting before assuming his current management role. He has seven years of experience in consulting working in a variety of sectors, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing and financial services. Stormoen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Computer Systems from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.
